A preschool teacher for many years, I absolutely enjoyed interacting with young children and am grateful to the parents who trusted me with their little ones each day. With a multitude of commitments to family, work, and community, it occurred to me just how busy some of these working parents were and found myself in the same situation. I was neglecting the things that mattered most to me, and in 2007, I left my teaching career with the desire to have a more balanced life.
During my free time, I love to shop! I especially love shopping for gifts to give others. Before long, friends and colleagues started asking me to shop for them. I would shop for baby shower gifts, and other times I would be making gift baskets for golf tournaments.
Because of much interest, The Bess Impression was established in 2009. I understand how busy everyone is, and shopping for gifts can often be time consuming.
